Weekly mindful meditation talks are thematic and include a guided meditation that reinforces the materials presented. Course materials will be provided by the instructor.
February 3 - The Energy of Mindful Mediation
Managing Your Focus. This talk addresses on how to use Mindful Breathing and Meditation to manage and improve your focus in any situation. It is based on the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh.
These talks present practical ways to deal with everyday issues. They are derived from personal experience, the core teachings mentioned above, combined the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and others.

I am a retired teacher, having taught various subjects at the college level for over a half century. I enjoy studying comparative religion and mythology. I have been married for 42 years, our two children are grown, one has a horse ranch and the other works in an allied medical field.
My meditation practice spans four plus decades. During this time, I have practiced meditation in many of its various and splendid forms. I started teaching mindfulness meditation after I retired seven years ago.
